Position: Health Care Coordinator - Entry Level
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Avenica is currently recruiting for a Health Care Coordinator position. This is a great entry level position with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Coordinator works directly with chronically ill or injured clients to create options that facilitate treatment. Provide medical case management to individuals, keeping open communication with the patient, physicians and other health care providers as well as employers, attorneys etc.
Develops plans, makes recommendations and assist in the implementation of the client's rehabilitation progress goals.
Negotiates services and creates cost-effective long term strategies for healthcare
Resolves problems and make decisions independently
Helps create a team environment that achieves positive outcomes
Utilizes verbal and numerical critical thinking skills to gather information, apply reasoning, and draw conclusions
Manage case deadlines independently
Present case findings to clients in quarterly meetings
Participate in continuing education and training
Qualifications/characteristics of a successful candidate:
Bachelor's degree required. All majors encouraged to apply
0-3 years of professional experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills must be motivated by working with people and servicing their needs
Prior customer service experience in retail, restaurant, or other business situations
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Solid investigative and creative problem-solving skills
Self-starter and career oriented
Available for regular regional and national travel
