Strategic Partnerships Manager (West Area) - Acclarent,Inc. Description: Chronicsinusitis affects 3 million Americans each year and five percent of the U.S.adult population suffers from a phenomenon referred to as Eustachian TubeDysfunction (blocked ears / ear pain). Acclarent is dedicated to supportingotolaryngologists with minimally-invasive ENT technologies that relieve thissuffering as effectively and painlessly as possible. For more than a decadeAcclarent has pioneered innovative technologies, including the balloon dilationsystem thats been used to treat more than one million patients. Job Summary: The Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for the development and ongoing managementof Key Customers and Opinion Leaders in the ENT marketplace. Territory will include: Texas, California, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kentucky and Ohio. Preferred candidates will reside in Texas or California. These customers will be targeted customersand accounts and may include officers of the recognized ENT Medical Societies,leaders of academic and ENT training programs, and members of high-volume ENTpractices. Responsibilities: Responsible for increasing themutual engagement between Acclarent and these thought leaders, in an effort toincrease their acceptance, support and utilization of Acclarent products.Identify, segment, map and monitorsurgeon leaders and their roles within sub-specialty and within Acclarent (incollaboration with other Acclarent colleagues).   • Five or more years of outsidesales experience in the medical device field
  • Valid driver's license issued inone of the 50 States and a clean driving record
  • Excellent written and oralcommunication skills
  • Ability to work effectively aspart of a team
