Kforce has a client in search of a Technical Support in Celebration, Florida (FL).Overview:The Wireless Operations Technical Specialist will provide escalation support for tier 1 technicians, monitoring and ongoing maintenance.This position provides technical support and onsite consultation to customers and ensures 24x7 operational support and maintenance of the wireless network, devices, and all other related infrastructure. Network infrastructure includes but not limited to: wireless access points, rf antennas, controllers, ONT, OLTs, mobile devices, iPads, cabling, and switches. This role also involves collaboration with other network engineering teams and service suppliers to ensure proper alignment on wireless upgrade projects, open incidents and other network related deliverables.The Wireless Operations Technical Specialist will work within a network operations team, to resolve routine issues and help wireless engineers develop wireless network solutions and configurations. The Wireless Operations Technical Specialist will work with external vendors, internally with other operations teams, and different business units.

* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

* 2-3 years in wireless enterprise environments that operate 7x24 services

* Moderate experience with Cisco Prime, Aruba Airwave

* Strong fundamental knowledge and experience with enterprise wireless support, sustainment, and implementation

* Intermediate understanding of Wi-Fi RF characteristics and signal propagation

* Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)

* Solid networking analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills

* Motivated self-starter

* Candidate looking to grow, improve daily, and expand knowledge base

* Tier 2 support; Some Tier 1 help will be required but we are looking for someone in the intermediate level who can handle Tier 2 and maybe sometimes up to Tier 3

* Intermediate Networking Knowledge and understanding of cabling

* Technical Customer Support

* Nice to have GPON deployment understanding but not required; This group basically provides operational support to wireless network infrastructure, along with all associated networking equipment and devices; This position will be a role within the Telecom Services Wireless Operations Team and take direction from the Telecom Services Manager

* Normal work schedule through week, with one on call 24/7 shift once a month as required
